Our classic appointment does include a $25 fee to reserve your time with one of our master stylists. This one time fee is applied to your bridal gown purchase though. While we do not charge if you cancel your appointment, we do ask for the courtesy of 24-hour notice. We offer a variety of upgraded appointment types ranging from $50 - $400 with options to include more guests, have the store to yourself, and make your experience that much more special! Our bridesmaid appointments have a $75 styling fee that will be applied towards the purchase of your bridesmaid's dress.

That depends on your appointment type! Since we have several options, our appointments range from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours. For our Classic Bridal Gown shopping appointment, a stylist will typically find you the perfect gown within an hour and a half. When you book your appointment, the length will be noted.

Our bridal gowns start around $1,000, with the average price of in the $1,500-$2,000 range. Sometimes if stars align you can find our perfect dress and take it out of the collection! Those may be discounted so it can be possible to find your gown under $1,000. Our Mother’s collection starts at $300, with the average price being in the $500-$800 range. Our Bridesmaids collection starts at $200. 

The short answer is the sooner the better! Your gown could take up to 6 months to be made for you! However, we work closely with designers that have gowns in production in size 0-34 and most gowns can be ordered on a “rush” if need be. We also have options out of the collection for quick wedding dates. We say the sooner the better since we also offer payment plan options, so the more time you have, the more options you'll have! 

Yes, we are extremely proud of our plus-size collection! Shopping for wedding dresses can be stressful for any bride, but for the plus-size bride, it can be more of a challenge. We’ve all heard the horror stories of judgmental stylists and embarrassingly small assortments of dresses to try on that leave brides-to-be shaking in their bridal shoes. We have a beautiful collection of plus size gowns in our salon and experienced stylists to guide you through the whole process. We have strapless, sleeves, ball gowns, lace, fit and flare, etc… we have it all! We currently have over 100 gowns exclusively in our plus size collection ready for you to try on!

For our classic bridal gown shopping appointments, we ask that each bride include no more than four of their most trusted loved ones join them in-store, and we ask none of your guests are under the age of 10. For our Brides who would like to include additional guests please look at our bridal appointment menu to see our available appointment types for you and your loved ones! 

No, we do not. You are paired with an experienced master stylist who will carefully choose the gowns we do put you in so that the selection process is stress-free. Don’t be surprised if the first gown we put you in is the one you end up saying “yes” to. We like to say this is our job so we know what we are doing ;)

The best thing to bring is an open mind, and the willingness to trust the process! You will be working one-on-one with a professional stylist who’s going to make saying yes to the dress super fun & easy! As far as physical things to bring, inspiration pictures are always helpful! Every gown on our website is a gown we have in store so here and our Instagram will be your best resource. We make quick friends in the changing rooms so be prepared with proper undergarments that ensure you feel comfortable, most gowns do not require a bra & if needed we are able to provide a bra for the proper fit. If you have a shoe or heel height you are comfortable in it is best to bring a pair of shoes in that height for measurements.

No! We have a variety of payment plans for your convenience, and to help make budgeting easier. The longer your time frame, the more options you will have. This is one of the many reasons we say shopping sooner is better ;)

A Trunk Show is an opportunity to see dresses that are new and not in stores yet, or in some cases, dresses that are “just visiting” and are not part of our permanent collection. There is not an actual “show”, just more beautiful dresses for you to choose from. View our upcoming events here.

Typically, we will special order your bridal gown for you, but there are instances that taking our sample is actually better! When a gown is sold out of our collection, it is sold in as-is condition, and may be discounted. This is super beneficial for a bride with a shorter timeline, or someone who is more budget conscious! We do say it takes a stars aligning moment, as it has to be the right dress, in the right color, and close to the right size. 

Yes, we have plenty of parking in front of our salon at 1100 Commerce Drive Suite C, look for our Pink Golf cart!

We ask that no children under 10 join you in-store. If one of your trusted guests is a male, we welcome you to bring him!

We have very talented in-house seamstresses with many years of combined bridal experience. You can be confident that your gown is in the very best of hands. They are bridal specialists who understand the fit and construction of bridal gowns. Alterations are an additional cost and will be quoted at your first fitting. Note: We only alter bridal gowns purchased with us at J.Andrew’s Bridal. We do not offer alterations on Mother’s dresses, bridesmaid dresses, or flowergirl dresses.

We like to say we outfit the women of the wedding! We have a department dedicated to your mother, future mother-in-law, and even your grandmothers! We also have bridesmaids and flowergirls. Our prom store is closed as of April 2021.
